The street children suffer from psychological illnesses as a result of the traumatic experiences of physical and sexual abuse and violence in their past. Street children frequently experience depression, suicidal thoughts, and a high frequency of mental problems. These kids have a strong sense of self-loathing, which makes them extremely vulnerable, especially in the absence of appropriate assistance.
