Exhaustive studies have been conducted to identify traits shared by both successful and failed teachers. In addition to subject-matter expertise and teaching abilities, the several researchers discovered some shared traits among effective teachers, including sympathy, humour, patience, objectivity, pleasant manners, politeness, broad-mindedness, intelligence, and strong character. All of these elements contribute to emotions and emotional intelligence.
